Rhodochrosite is such a beautiful stone. A manganese carbonate mineral, this material is mined from Hydrothermal veins in Capillitas Argentina. Apart from the stalagmites and banded veins from Argentina, Rhodochrosite is also found as beautiful sharp red crystals in Colorado and South Africa.
